Character Background and Description
Yua is a Japanese woman who travels between the lower and middle class floors. Because of her small stature and her tendency for easy-going familiarity and lack of honorifics, she is often called Mori-chan (Japanese) or Mori-ya (Korean), or simply Ttal (Korean for daughter). She is the only child of her parents, her father works at the recycling plant and her mother works as a farmer. She spent long days alone while her parents worked, so she had to find ways to occupy herself. Yua became interested in recycled tech and modding after wandering into a marketplace at age 10. Some modders found her amusing and showed her the ropes of fixing and upgrading technology, and led to her introduction into _,

_ is a culture of synth music built on recycled sound cards that turned into a spirituality, with the belief that music can connect the musician to an underlying Elder Code that spans all technology and unifies the tower together. Yua has built many of her own synths, which she cherishes like children. While much of _ music is characterized by an almost nonsensical beeping that induces headaches, Yua blends long hanging chords with more rhythmic beeps from multiple sound cards in one synth, compositions that her friends call "almost palatable". She travels between the floors to play her music and spread the words (or sounds) of the Elder Code, and how it connects all life.

Yua has short, choppily cut black hair and a round face. She is rather short, and wears an eclectic array of clothes that hide her frame. She carries a backpack covered in jangly decorations that hold her synths and modding supplies. She is an amateur modder who takes on some commissions, but prefers to just play music. Her parents lives in a small home on one of the lower class floors, she doesn't permanently live here anymore but she stores all her synths her in her childhood bedroom.

She is very passionate about _, and when asked questions on the spirituality will happily give intense, in-depth explanations on the Elder Code and synth music. She is either very chatty or has her head completely in the clouds, usually deep in thought composing music in her head. She frequents the various markets and mod shops when she's not playing music in common areas.
